As a part of our supply chain team, our logistics team specializes in the movement, storage, and flow of goods. With proper logistics planning, our logistics folks are able to meet our clients and customers’ requirements. Our logistics planning ranges from procuring the goods, storage at suitable warehouses, to delivery of products. We believe that by implementing a strategic logistics planning, we are able to face and manage unanticipated circumstances as variables such as time, transportation, and costs may be unpredictable at times. We think that by applying strategic emergency planning, we know how and when to respond to these unpredictable circumstances and ensure that our logistic performances stay consistent.
Our logistics folks also work on inventory control and maximizing storage capacity of our warehouses. We work closely with our sales team, our production planning team and our on-site production team in updating and monitoring our inventory data. We also collaborate with our IT team on integrating our software system into the management and operation of our warehouses. Our logistics folks are able to locate and move the goods in a time effective manner and keep our inventory at a desirable status.
Our retail brand and name brand clients also rely on our ability to transport and deliver goods. We collaborate with local trucking companies to transport and deliver goods. With our contract trucking companies, we assess their qualifications in the following areas: their moving load, delivery speed, operation costs, and overall service quality. Our logistics staff are trained in assessing the aforementioned factors and we hold annual evaluations to ensure our contract truck drivers meet our requirements.
