Brush Head and Handle Materials
Our rubber brush picks are made of food grade plastic materials. We use PP, TPE, and biodegradable PLA to make our rubber brush picks. We use TPE on the bristle head section of the brush picks since TPE plastic exhibits elasticity similar to that of a cross-linked rubber. We choose TPE for its flexural fatigue resistance and tear and abrasion resistance. This unique feature of TPE material allows for better maneuverability when cleaning between and underneath the gumlines.
Brush Head Styles
The bristles of our classic brush pick head section resemble the shape of coniferous plants, with 76 rubber bristles feathering out in 6 directions which create a 360-degree figure for utmost multi-angle deep cleaning. Each individual coniferous bristle comes with a unique cone shape and grain like texture for deep massage cleaning for the gumlines.
Rubber Brush Pick Sizing
Brush pick size is defined by the minimum tooth gap allowance, meaning the tooth gap allowance for a rubber brush pick head section to insert through. Rubber brush pick size is typically measured in millimeters (mm), ranging from 0.6mm to 1.5mm, and typically expressed in 2 forms: one is in size ranging from XXX Small to Large. The other one is in size ranging from numerical number 01 to 06. We currently offer one standard size rubber brush pick in size 05, which is 1.5mm.
Combining The Brush Head And The Handle Material
Yuh Shiuans uses a special technique in combining the brush head TPE and the handle PP into one. Unlike interdental brushes, the bristles of rubber brush picks are wire-free. The flexible synthetic bristles are ideal for gum massaging. The pull strength of our rubber brush pick is 4 kilos on average, which is approximately 40 N, and the brush head can go in and out of tooth gaps up to 40 times without showing indications of visible wear or breakage.
Handle Styles
We offer two main styles of rubber brush pick handle design: The circle grip style, and custom logo engraving style. You may also design your own handle section of the brush picks.
Packaging Options
Our rubber brush picks are produced in a 12-count strip based quantity. We can adjust the count of rubber brush pick strips upon request. All rubber brush picks are manufactured and packaged according to our rigorous hygiene and quality standards. Our rubber brush picks come with two main travel friendly cases: The mini travel case, and the on-the-go travel case. We offer custom logo engraving or printing for these travel cases.
We offer four main styles of packaging for our rubber brush picks: Plastic containers, resealable zipper bags, blister containers (HSC or Clamshell), and eco-friendly cardboard style containers.
For plastic containers, stickers are labeled with packaging design displays, and a shrink film is wrapped around the plastic container for hygiene purposes. For resealable zipper bags and cardboard containers, packaging design is printed directly on the packaging. For blister containers, we insert cardboard cards for packaging design display. We offer packaging design service or you may create a custom packaging design for your own brand names or store brands. For blister containers, we use cardboard papers for packaging design.
We also offer biodegradable materials for our plastic containers. All of our blisters are made of recyclable PET materials and our cardboard style containers are made of 100% paper based recyclable materials. We are currently working on developing 100% biodegradable materials to substitute for our PET made transparent blisters.
